My Approach

What do we do when our internal value is challenged, when we feel that we have to adhere to cultural roles and group stereotypes of how to be "a man," "a good partner," "a loving parent" or a "productive employee"  What happens when there's despair about this disparity of who we are and what we are expected to be.

Come re-discover your vital internal landscape, let's work together to creatively generate a more unified authentic and whole way of being. The invitation is to co-create sustainable change, transforming the pain of isolation, worry, confusion, barriers to intimacy and disempowerment into a restored and reconnected sense of being.

With the nurturing nonjudgemental containment of the therapeutic space, we will work collaboratively to bring awareness to areas of your innate strength and uncover disconnections and limiting patterns, from here we will develop actionable insights to promote change in areas of distress.

As a Licensed Clinician, longtime mindfulness practitioner and Depth Psychologist, I bring an integrative approach to my clinical practice. I believe that psychotherapy is a restorative and liberating force. In order to accomplish this, we must address some of the limitations of traditional psychotherapy which holds the view that the problem and solution lie within individual. I maintain a wider lens that allows me to consider that distress experienced by the individual may be rooted in deeper and wider historical, social, economic, cultural and political contexts. What this means is that we will deconstruct the problem and understand how that which ails us and its solutions are inextricably linked and inter-dependant with the relationship we have with our culture, community and enviornment. This tri-part connection is critical in restoring our well being and through this frame, I seek to not only support you to cope with what you're immediately facing but also to illuminate pathways for changing the conditions that stimulate these challenges, co-creating a robust, generative and joyful life.
